Being at the doors of these days, we have made a list with some of the 10 best getaways for Holy Week in Europe.
In it we have not included more tourist cities such as Rome, Paris or London since we have wanted to choose less crowded destinations that can be seen perfectly these days, without hurry and with less tourists. We start!

1. Krakow

Krakow, a city that has managed to overcome its tragic past in World War II and become one of the cities to visit in Europe. Its historic World Heritage Center will not leave you indifferent, just like the visits you can make in the surroundings and also its gastronomy.
These days we recommend that you do not miss two visits to the surroundings of Krakow that we consider essential: the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

2. Midi-Pyrénées

Midi-Pyrénées is an area located in the south of France, with some of the declared prettiest villages in France such as Conques, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, Belcastel or Cordes sur Ciel. They are villages that remain almost intact from their medieval past, located in beautiful places surrounded by mountains or on the banks of rivers, something that makes them even more charming. Visiting them at this time of year has a great incentive, do it practically without people, since this area of the country, in summer, receives a multitude of tourism. If you want to enjoy the area to the fullest, we advise you to rent a car, or come with your own, and see them with the freedom of movement and schedules that this way of traveling gives.
